Texas amends her state constitution every 2 years, and sometimes every year. The TX Legislature proposes these amendments and Texas voters are asked to vote on whether the amendment becomes part of our constitution, or not. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME VOTERS HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A DIRECT VOTE IN THE STATE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS.
